Dr.Thwe

Born in 1961 in Mogok Dr. Thwe received his high school education at Mogok State High School. He continued his dental studies at the Institute of Dental Medicine in Yangon, where he graduated in 1983. After having practiced in his hometown for 5 years, he left for Japan where he studied Oral Pathology for one year and Pediatric density for five years. His work included laser research in animals.
In 1994, he presented his research paper at the International Congress of Dental laser (ISLD). In 1996, he finished his doctoral studies and received his doctorate from Tokyo Medical and Dental University. For clinical work, he continued his studies in Showa Dental University in Tokyo and Drs. Tay & Partners in Singapore.

Dr. Thwe returned to Myanmar in 1997 and worked as Resident Dental Surgeon at Pacific Medicial Centre, which is under the management of HCS-HMI of Singapore.
In 1998, he accepted a position of Resident Dental Officer at International SOS, where he found his job nature more suitable.
After gaining a good reputation among the local and expatriate communities in Yangon, he started his own clinic at Sakura Tower at the beginning of the year 2000. Now his clientele exceeds 5000 international patients.
In 2004, he received a Fellowship of International College of Dentists from the United States.

Infection Control

Using disposable needles, gloves, rinsing cups, aprons and masks, we eliminate the possibility of cross infections among patients.
Sinces we consider sterilization to be of prime importance in our clinic, we widely use auto-clave, hot air oven, UV storage and cold sterilization solutions to reach the international standard.
The fear of HIV, HBV and other communicable diseases is non existent in our clinic.
